I have invested in learning from the greatest dental professionals in their fields, across the world to ensure I can provide the very best for my patients, from the moment they enter the practice. Services that I provide in New Bond Street are listed below.
COSMETIC
WHAT IS COSMETIC DENTISTRY?
This is the improvement of the appearance of your teeth through one or a combination of cosmetic dental procedures. With the advances in dental technology and materials I am able to provide excellent, natural and long-lasting results, allowing you to smile and be amazed by the final look of your teeth.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
At your initial consultation I will assess which aspects of cosmetic dentistry are required. There are always several options to achieve the results you and I are aiming to achieve. I will discuss all the options, merits of each option, along with costs, so you can make a correct and informed decision.
WHAT ARE MY COSMETIC OPTIONS?
Teeth whiteningWhitening is a very safe, simple and effective way of lightening the natural colour of your teeth without removing any of the tooth surface. This is also the least expensive way to improve your smile. Custom trays and specifically prescribed whitening gels are used to achieve the home whitening treatment.
Porcelain Veneers
Veneers are custom made, thin layers of porcelain that are bonded to the front of your existing teeth. A small amount of tooth preparation is required to make space for the veneers. The final result, as close to perfect tooth shape, length, alignment, and a brighter colour, which makes this the most aesthetic and natural smile option.
Dental bonding
This consists of adding white composite filling material, which is hardened with a specific light, bonding the material to the tooth. I then trim, shape and polish it to its optimum form and brilliance. This is considered the most conservative form of cosmetic dentistry – which means less drilling, if any, is required on your existing teeth prior to the bonding application process.
Bonding can repair decayed, chipped, cracked, or misshapen teeth. It can be done in one treatment session, and may require polishing and maintenance in the future. Results are instant and look fantastic!
Cosmetic white crowns
Also referred to as a ‘cap’, fits over and replaces the entire tooth structure of tooth above the gum line, restoring its shape, size, strength, and appearance. A crown is used to support a weakened, decayed or cracked tooth, preventing a tooth from breaking and therefore potential tooth loss. Crowns can be used to cosmetically cover misshapen or severely discoloured teeth. They are routinely made from porcelain and are cemented/bonded onto existing teeth.
Invisalign teeth straightening
If you have irregular, crowded or spaced teeth, this is a perfect option for you. Invisalign will give you a new reason to smile! This clear aligner system will straighten your teeth in a subtle and comfortable way. The trays that you wear are practically invisible.
White composite fillings
A tooth coloured, putty-like resin, which is a durable plastic material, is applied to the tooth and hardened with a specific light, bonding the material to the tooth. It is a good cosmetic alternative to, or replacement for metal amalgam silver fillings. Composite will replace decayed, chipped, cracked or misshapen teeth anywhere in the mouth, and blend in with the current shade of the existing teeth. Your tooth will look natural and enhanced once the filling is finished. No one will recognise treatment was ever done. White fillings can be placed in one treatment session, and may require polishing and maintenance in the future.
Dental implants
Implants replace the roots of a missing tooth/teeth, which allows for a final crown, bridge or denture to be fitted on top. It’s a highly successful and an effective form of treatment. Unlike other tooth replacements this is fixed into place, ensuring the most functional yet aesthetic position of the new teeth with good development and positioning of the gums to get the best possible outcome.
Porcelain bridge
When there is a missing tooth and the jaw does not permit the placement of an implant, a bridge is the next best solution. A bridge uses the teeth either side of the gap to support the new, porcelain, replacement tooth. In certain bridge designs, the adjacent teeth, if required, can benefit in their supporting role
Cosmetic dentures
Multiple missing teeth may require a denture. These natural looking acrylic teeth, and can be secured into position with implants, or retained with sufficient facial muscles and good purposeful retentive design where possible. They can look very natural.

INVISALIGN
WHAT IS INVISALIGN?
If you have irregular, crowded or spaced teeth, this is a perfect option for you. Invisalign will give you a new reason to smile! This clear aligner system will straighten your teeth in a subtle and comfortable way. The trays that you wear are practically invisible.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Using the most advanced 3D technology, Invisalign uses my dental prescription and planning to then custom make a series of removable, clear mouth trays (aligners). A series of these aligners are given to you, and are changed weekly, producing a controlled force to move your teeth into the planned positions.
Invisalign normally takes five months for treatment to be finalised, and in some complex cases slightly longer. Each aligner is slightly different and is worn for a week. They should be removed for eating and hot drinks; however, I recommend a minimum of 22 hours per day to ensure tooth movements are achieved. When treatment is completed there may be some fine tuning required to ensure we create that final perfect smile.
LIFE BENEFITS
- Completely natural finish
- Huge boost in confidence as straight teeth change your facial appearance
- No metal braces needed, so it's treatment that fits in with your lifestyle
- Straighter teeth are easier to clean, therefore healthier
- Final retainer trays can be used to whiten your teeth, should you wish to
WHITENING
WHAT IS WHITENING?
Tooth whitening is a very safe, simple and effective way of lightening the natural colour of your teeth without removing any of the tooth surface.
It is the colour change through the whole tooth, by using specific gels to lift the current shade to that of a more natural white. The best form of whitening is with the use of a home kit, prescribed and made by a dentist.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
I will make you a set of custom whitening trays, which are thin and soft for your comfort. I will show you the desired amount of whitening gel that is required, and should be inserted inside the trays, placed over your teeth, and then left in situ for the prescribed amount of time. This process is repeated for up to 2 weeks to ensure results are achieved and completed.
White composite fillings, or any form of porcelain in the mouth will not change colour and sometimes require replacement after whitening. All of this would be identified at your consultation.
You may require a small top up in 3 – 5 years, depending on your consumption of food and drinks that stain. Top up whitening is extremely low cost and easy to complete.

GENERAL
WHAT IS GENERAL DENTISTRY?
It is extremely important to have a regular check-up. The frequency will vary from patient to patient. Those with more complex dental needs, will require more maintenance and monitoring.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
I will send you a recall to come to the practice for your check-up. During this time the health of the gums, the skin inside the mouth and the teeth are all checked for any signs of disease or problems. The more regular and consistent you are with these visits, the least likely you are to develop problems and the easier it is to fix an issue, should it arise.
LIFE BENEFITS
- This is part of your general health
- The more regularly you visit, the less likely you will need dental work
- Healthy teeth and gums, means no pain, no smells, less dental work required
CLEANING
WHAT IS CLEANING?
Keeping your mouth and teeth clean prevents dental problems such as cavities, gum disease and bad breath. Regardless of how good we are at brushing and flossing, plaque always develops and it attaches itself to your teeth. Plaque is a collection of bacteria, which will lead to decay and gum disease if it is not cleaned off regularly. After a period of time it firmly attaches itself to the tooth and will not shift with simple brushing alone and, the hygienist needs to professionally clean it off for you. Cleans should be carried out twice a year, as a minimum.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Our hygienists will assess the health and condition of your gums. They will carry out a clean with a small water jet, and then complete the appointment with air flow polishing to remove stains and particles on the teeth. The appointment is always finished with advice on cleaning at home, and which products are best suited to assist you.
LIFE BENEFITS
- Great health orally and therefore better great general health
- Healthy pink gums – (NO red, bleeding or sore gums)
- Stain free teeth
- No bad odours
- Excellent maintenance of teeth and all previous dental work
- Avoids any loss of teeth or failed dental work
